Hace varios meses mi Mac comenzó a fallar. Por lo general, sucede exactamente cuando hago clic en un enlace en Safari ( Editar: lo probé con Chrome y obtengo el mismo comportamiento). Hago clic en un enlace, la página comienza a cargarse, luego todo el equipo se bloquea. Sin pelota de playa, el cursor no se mueve, el teclado no responde. Después de dos o tres minutos, la pantalla se vuelve negra y se reinicia.
Intenté crear una nueva cuenta de usuario y ejecutarla durante un tiempo. Toda la computadora se volvió súper receptiva. Pero no resolvió el problema. Puedo pasar varios días sin fallar mientras programo, puedo hacer un clon completo del disco duro sin que se caiga, pero traer a Safari a la mezcla me devuelve los bloqueos.
Debo señalar que ocasionalmente se bloquea espontáneamente, pero generalmente Safari se ejecuta en segundo plano.
Estoy ejecutando Mavericks porque quería descartar un problema de hardware antes de actualizar a Yosemite. (En su mayoría, la Mac ha estado en un estante durante los últimos meses porque los bloqueos pasaron de una vez a la semana a aproximadamente una vez al día y temí un problema con el disco duro).
Lo he intentado:
- Creando un nuevo usuario y ejecutándose bajo ese usuario, como mencioné anteriormente.
- Reiniciando Safari.
- Creando un clon súper duper, arrancando el clon y ejecutando la utilidad de disco, para descartar la corrupción de HFS +. Eso volvió totalmente limpio, las dos veces que lo probé.
- También he intentado usar Apple Hardware Test. Debido a que hice una instalación nueva de león de montaña en este SSD, descubrí que no funcionaba. El hardware es demasiado viejo para admitir la ejecución de AHT a través de Internet (tampoco funciona), así que descargué AHT desde enlace y lo instalé en mi unidad de arranque, de acuerdo con las instrucciones, pero aún así no carga la prueba de hardware de Apple.
Mis preguntas:
- ¿Qué diablos es el problema subyacente?
- ¿Debo instalar Yosemite y esperar lo mejor? ¿Actualizar o instalar de nuevo?
- ¿Cómo puedo hacer que AHT se ejecute?
- Comencé pensando que esto era un problema de disco. ¿Hay algo que pueda hacer para descartarlo? Podría reemplazar mi maravilloso SSD con una (gulp) unidad de disco duro de 5400 rpm y probarlo por un tiempo, supongo.
- ¿Por qué Safari bloquea por completo mi computadora?
