¿OS 10.9.3 funciona con múltiples monitores externos 4k?

Tenga un rMBP de 15 "a finales de 2013 con OS X 10.9.3 con un Samsung LU28D590DS / ZA externo compatible con 4k.

Siempre que conecto mi monitor Dell de 30 "que no es 4K, la pantalla parpadea brevemente, como si la máquina reconociera que hay otro monitor conectado, pero luego no muestra la salida al monitor de 30".

Si desconecto un monitor u otro, puedo trabajar con uno a la vez, pero no con ambos.

¿Se trata de un problema conocido con OS 10.9.3 o la limitación de mi tarjeta de video?

EDITAR: utilicé la aplicación de la Consola para probar la salida después de conectar el monitor secundario y obtuve la siguiente salida:

Oficialmente, Apple informa que los modelos Retina Display MacBook Pro pueden admitir dos pantallas externas con una resolución de hasta 2560x1600 a través de los puertos Thunderbolt o Thunderbolt 2 o una pantalla con una resolución máxima de 2560x1600 a través de Thunderbolt y una pantalla con una resolución máxima de 1920x1200 (1080p) a través de HDMI.

Se sabe que los Mavericks tienen algunos problemas con el monitor externo, la mayoría de ellos se solucionó en el 10.9.3.

Configura tus monitores para corregir la resolución y vuelve a intentarlo.

Resulta que la Macbook no estaba funcionando con un monitor 4k y un monitor que no era 4K, ambos conectados a los puertos de visualización. Cuando conecté el monitor que no era 4k a mi puerto HDMI, funcionó, aunque con una resolución inferior a la ideal.
