Tengo un Macbook Pro 10,1 (mediados de 2012) con 10.10.2. En los últimos meses, he tenido problemas con el sistema que se bloquea repentinamente: el mouse no se mueve, el teclado no hace nada y el reloj se detiene. Tengo que mantener presionado el botón de encendido y reiniciar la computadora cuando esto suceda.
He estado experimentando estas heladas que van desde diariamente hasta semanalmente. No existe una acción consistente que reproduzca la congelación a pedido. Sin embargo, en algún momento de los últimos meses, cambié a Safari desde Chrome como mi navegador principal porque la vida de la batería parece mucho mejor cuando uso Safari. He estado haciendo un proyecto durante la última semana que depende de Chrome y, como tal, no he estado usando Safari y no he tenido bloqueos. En retrospectiva, creo que las heladas comenzaron a ocurrir cuando comencé a usar Safari con regularidad.
Prefiero no tener que elegir entre usar Safari y tener un sistema estable. ¿Alguien está al tanto de temas como el que estoy experimentando? ¿Alguna sugerencia para una solución de problemas adicional?

Guardé los registros de la Consola que rodean uno de estos bloqueos. Cuando la computadora se congeló, Safari era la aplicación más avanzada, y yo estaba desplazando una página con un desplazamiento de 2 dedos en el panel táctil. Luego presioné manualmente el poder para reiniciar.
