Tengo un código AppleScript que tengo problemas para escribir.

Me gustaría que se creara un nuevo archivo .rtf en blanco con un nombre de archivo definido por el usuario, guardado en una ubicación predeterminada, con una plantilla de documento predeterminada. Ya sé cómo llevar a cabo todas estas funciones en AppleScript.

Sé que quizás la forma más fácil de lograr lo que quiero es simplemente presionar el atajo de teclado para "Pegar y combinar estilo" en TextEdit.app, es decir, ⌥ opción + + ⌘ comando + V . Pero esperaba un "back-end" y un método más sofisticado, ya que la pulsación de teclas conlleva un notable retraso.

Esta respuesta incorpora el código existente de mi respuesta que vinculó en su pregunta con las siguientes modificaciones.

En el controlador openDocument() , key code 125 se cambió a key code 125 using command down para enviar el cursor a la última línea del documento una vez abierto.

El createCustomRTFDocument() handler tiene my addPlainTextFromClipboardToEndOfNewelyCreatedRTFDocument() agregado después del cierre del nuevo documento RTF, que se creó a partir de la plantilla. La creación del documento RTF es ahora un proceso de dos pasos. El primer paso crea el documento a partir de la plantilla. El segundo paso agrega texto del Portapapeles como texto sin formato, si existe, que se realiza antes de la primera vez que se abre el documento para el Usuario por el controlador openDocument() .

Se creó un nuevo handler , se llamó addPlainTextFromClipboardToEndOfNewelyCreatedRTFDocument() y se codificó para hacer lo que su nombre indica. Obtendrá el texto del portapapeles como texto sin formato, si existe, y lo escribirá al final del documento RTF creado recientemente por la primera parte customRTFDocumentTemplate() handler .

Encontré un error en mi código original, el archivo se estaba sobrescribiendo internamente, no se eliminaba el archivo y se volvía a crear como debería ser en este caso. He agregado código para corregir eso en este código y editaré la otra respuesta para agregar a ese código . Para explicar el error, agregué & return & return & "If yes, the file will be placed in the Trash." al "Do you want to overwrite the file?" display dialog comando en el bloque primario tell application "Finder" . También se agregó el siguiente código dentro de la cláusula else de la declaración if the button returned of result is "No" then para manejar el error.
