Después de muchas horas de encontrar algo al menos útil para mi problema, encontré un sitio web llamado Secretos , que proporciona una gran cantidad de Mac comunes Comandos de "escritura predeterminada" de OS.

De todos modos, gracias a Tony y drfrogsplatless por darme aclaraciones y consejos que me fueron útiles.

Producir automáticamente un script para hacer todos los cambios necesarios es prácticamente imposible. Los administradores de sistemas Mac pasan muchas horas en bares oscuros bebiendo cerveza o bourbon e intercambiando fragmentos de estos archivos; nos resistimos a compartir todo ese trabajo a menos que esté preparado para recoger la pestaña.

En realidad, la forma más sencilla de capturar los cambios de configuración es utilizar la toma de instantáneas.

Obtenga una copia de InstallEase y haga una instantánea de su nueva Mac. Ahora realice toda la configuración que desee y puede tomar otra instantánea y crear un instalador que instale los archivos modificados en una nueva Mac.

Por supuesto, pueden surgir complicaciones al aplicar los cambios a una nueva versión del sistema operativo, pero es por eso que bebemos el bourbon.

Las Preferencias del Sistema parecen estar almacenadas en varios lugares, dependiendo de si son específicas del usuario o del sistema. Muchos de ellos se almacenan en /Library/Preferences/ o $HOME/Library/Preferences/ (para la configuración por usuario). Pero cada panel de preferencias tendrá su propia forma de almacenarlos.

Puede ver qué preferencias se almacenan de esta manera escribiendo:

Donde <domain> es el inicio del nombre de archivo en las preferencias del sistema por usuario o la ruta completa a un archivo .plist . Por ejemplo:

El primero mostrará la personalización por usuario de la configuración del protector de pantalla, mientras que el segundo mostrará la configuración del protector de pantalla del sistema.

La configuración está organizada en gran medida por el panel de preferencias, aunque no necesariamente tan sencillo. Es probable que tengas que buscar en /Library/Preferences y en subcarpetas (especialmente en SystemConfiguration ) para encontrarlas todas.

Una opción sería simplemente copiar los archivos relevantes y colocarlos nuevamente en su lugar para nuevas instalaciones.

Otra forma sería exportarlo e importarlo según sea necesario.

Exportando las Preferencias del Sistema de Administración de Energía (Ahorro de Energía) a pm.plist:

Es posible que incluso desee editar los diversos archivos .plist exportados si hay preferencias específicas del sistema que no desea compartir entre equipos. De esa manera, puede tener alguna personalización local y el comando import no los sobrescribirá, solo agregue los que haya establecido en los archivos .plist . Puede usar el comando defaults para modificar sus propios archivos .plist también (pero asegúrese de especificar la ruta completa al archivo, no solo un nombre, o puede estar modificando sus preferencias por usuario).

La última vez que realicé una reinstalación limpia, copié toda la carpeta ~/Library/Preferences/ y no tuve ningún problema debido a eso. Las configuraciones para versiones antiguas de aplicaciones y configuraciones específicas de Mac solo deben ser ignoradas. Casi no hay archivos en ~/Library/Preferences/ en una nueva instalación, y si elimina todos los archivos en ~/Library/Preferences/ , los archivos de preferencias se volverán a crear cuando sean necesarios.

Los archivos de preferencias para aplicaciones de espacio aislado ahora están almacenados en ~/Library/Containers/ , pero no sé si copiarlo en otra Mac causaría algún problema.
