Cómo instalar Xcode 4.2.1 para OS X Lion 10.7.5

Estas instrucciones dicen "instalar xcode", pero luego diga "una vez que tengas xcode instalado". Perdón, ¿no se han saltado un paso? ¿Cómo instala xcode?

Después de descargar Xcode.dmg, haz doble clic en la imagen para montarla (si aún no está montada automáticamente).

Encontrarás un archivo pkg dentro. .pkg es la extensión de archivo para paquetes de software en OS X (y iOS). Si hace doble clic en el paquete, la aplicación relacionada "Installer" lo abrirá y podrá instalarlo.

Las imágenes posteriores de Xcode (por ejemplo, Xcode 4.6.3, también para Lion) ya contienen un paquete de aplicaciones: Xcode.app. Para "instalarlo", simplemente cópielo / arrástrelo a la carpeta de aplicaciones.
