Cuando corro lo mismo con sudo sudo virtualenv venv Nuevo ejecutable de Python en /Users/shan/test/bin/python2.7

Estoy ejecutando Sierra y los entornos virtuales parecen funcionar bien. ¿Qué distribución de python estás usando? ¿Cómo iniciaste tu entorno virtual? Usé Anaconda para instalar Python y luego seguí sus instrucciones para configurar y activar entornos virtuales.
