Administro una pequeña oficina de 7 macs y 1 PC. Un iMac 2010, en particular, tiene problemas de conectividad a Internet en curso donde dice que está conectado (a través de Diagnósticos de red) pero se apaga de nuevo de manera intermitente (todas las demás computadoras mantienen la conectividad de la red sin problemas). Descartar un cable o puerto defectuoso es un excelente primer paso. Un cable defectuoso o un puerto de conmutador defectuoso es al menos tan probable como un puerto de Ethernet defectuoso en el iMac. Comenzaría por cambiar el puerto del conmutador y por los buenos conocidos. Intercambie el cable y el puerto con una computadora de la que esté seguro que no demuestre el problema. Escriba lo que hizo y cuándo lo hizo para futuras referencias.

Si esa computadora desarrolla un problema similar y el iMac está bien, entonces sabrás que es el puerto del switch o el cable. Mueva el cable en buen estado al puerto sospechoso. Si el cable es malo, córtelo por la mitad para que nadie intente usarlo nuevamente. Si el puerto es malo, bloquéelo con algo, como el extremo cortado de un cable defectuoso.

Una vez que haya verificado el cable y el puerto del switch, puede volver a sospechar del puerto Ethernet del iMac. ¿Tal vez comprar un adaptador Ethernet USB barato y cambiarle el iMac? Si eso soluciona el problema, entonces sabes que era el puerto Ethernet. Si no, probablemente sea algo en la configuración del software.

¿Es esta una red inalámbrica o por cable? A veces, si tiene una red cableada y el dispositivo inalámbrico está encendido y asociado, interrumpirá el enrutamiento. En general, usted quiere elegir uno u otro. Por lo tanto, si está conectado, desactive el dispositivo inalámbrico.

Aparte de eso, la red diag es bastante confiable y hacer ping a google (o cualquier otro sitio de Internet) es bueno.
