La computadora sigue fallando luego de reemplazar la RAM

Recientemente reemplacé mi RAM en mi iMac de mediados de 2009. Reemplace la memoria RAM actual con 2 x 4 Gb. palos de la memoria RAM. Sin embargo, ahora que reemplacé la memoria RAM, mi computadora comenzó a fallar de manera aleatoria a menudo, aunque puedo usarla por períodos de 10 a 60 minutos antes de la falla. ¿Alguien sabe cómo arreglar esto?
